Beekeeping and Bee Care

At Marguste Mesila, we care for and maintain our bee colonies. We learn about our bees, monitor their development, and take care of their well-being to ensure they have good living conditions. Our goal is to develop our apiary, gain new beekeeping knowledge, and share our experiences with other beekeeping enthusiasts.

Apiary Development

Our goal at Marguste Mesila is to gradually develop and expand our apiary. We plan to increase the number of bee colonies, improve our beekeeping equipment, and gain new knowledge and practical skills.

In the future, we hope to develop our apiary into a place where we can introduce the fascinating world of bees and share our experiences with other beekeeping enthusiasts.

Sharing Beekeeping Knowledge

At Marguste Mesila, we believe it is important to gain and share beekeeping knowledge. We want to introduce people to the lives of bees, their importance in nature, and the everyday activities of a beekeeper.

We are also continuously learning new skills. We attend beekeeping training courses and seminars, are members of the Estonian Beekeepers' Association (EML), and keep up to date with developments in the world of beekeeping.

We share the development of our apiary, our experiences, and what we have learned to inspire interest in beekeeping and bring people closer to nature.

Why Are Bees Important?

Bees are very important for nature and the preservation of biodiversity. By visiting flowers, they pollinate many plants, helping fruits and seeds to develop.

The yields of many garden and agricultural crops depend on the work of bees. They also help preserve the diversity of wild plants.

At Marguste Mesila, we aim to raise awareness of the importance of bees through our activities and encourage people to help protect environments suitable for bees.
